Data protection

We will only collect information necessary to undertake our work and will be upfront any collection of information that can identify an individual.

On this website, we use Google Analytics to collect information on how many visitors the site has had and how visitors use this site. Google Analytics will record your Internet Protocol address; however, we will not use this information in a way that identifies anyone and will not allow Google to use it to identify visitors in any way. The exception to this is investigating cases of malicious use or damage to the site. If you do not wish to share this information, you can adjust your browser settings to disable cookies. Anyone interested in Women’s Spaces can register for our newsletter. Information collected in this way is forwarded securely to us and is used to keep you informed about our work.

We would also like to keep anyone interested in our work informed about what we do, through:

  1. updates on our work including events,
  2. newsletters and, from time to time,
  3. press releases.

We will only do so with your consent and will only use personal data for this purpose. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us and also have the right to see any information we hold about you. You can register to receive updates by emailing us at niwep@btconnect.com. This information is forwarded securely to us and will be stored securely.

We do not share personal data with third parties and aim to keep personal data up to date through annual reviews.
