Participants attend “Speak Up” in ABC Council area

On 21 October 2025, our rural Co-ordinator Charmain was joined by some women from the ABC council area to attend a special production of a play “Speak Up” about the issues facing communities here in NI such as disability hate crime, sectarian and racial hate crimes. Such an impactful play and so emotive acted by young people from the local Southern Regional College. The women also got a chance to visit the stalls and engage with local organisations trying to address these issues as well as try a range of diverse cuisines from across ABC council.
