Charmain, Rural Coordinator, speaks at NICVA’s Community Empowerment Programme

Thank you so much to NICVA for asking our Women’s Spaces Co-ordinator (Rural) Charmain to speak at their very first Community Empowerment programme event. She spoke about her own personal journey in Peacebuilding having worked in the field for 25 years and then shared her learning from her rural work and the networks built, stories shared and connections made. She emphasised the importance of a regional peace infrastructure connecting rural and urban to build a better future for NI given the current unrest. She also promoted our new digital toolkit Pillars for Peace and was thrilled to receive first hand feedback from those in the room who checked it out on mobiles.
