16 women from Ballybeen Women’s Centre took part in a 3 week workshop series where we explored through the Digital Film Archive, the lives and roles of women in Northern Ireland.
The group took a look through the decades taking a closer view of women within the family, community and wider society and the role they play and continue to play in helping shape the past, present and future of this place we call home.
Feedback from the workshops included how much had changed and how much was still to go in terms of gender equality.
