NIRWN (Northern Ireland Rural Women’s Network) celebrated International Day of Rural Women at the Mellon Country Inn, Omagh on Thursday 13th October 2022 with over 80 delegates in attendance.
Rural women from across the region came together to join in the celebration and our Guest Speakers focused on the theme ‘Reflect, Renew, Rebuild as we recognise the fact that rural women have had a challenging few years and in the midst of an Income/Cost of Living crisis they are dealing with all the expectations of family and community in difficult times. This does not come cost free to their time and wellbeing.
