Pillars for Peace-Building Toolkit workshop with Oriel Connects Us project

57 women on a Cross Border Educational Visit to Belfast took part in a workshop on the new Pillars for Peace-building toolkit at the Irish Secretariat in Belfast. The women were members of the Lislea Community Association and Omeath District Development as part of the Oriel Connects Us project. They heard from Majella Murphy, Eileen Weir, Kathy Wolfe, and Barbara Boyle on their experiences in peacebuilding as well as viewed the toolkit resources. The women talked about being older women and taking care of grandchildren, rural lives, women in the armed forces, and newcomers and migrant communities.
