Women’s Spaces Programme is Officially Launched!
Among the dignitaries included key note speakers Richard Hill, Mark Hanniffy; Joint Secretaries at the North South Ministerial Council, Joint Secretariat and Sarah Keane, Director-Strategic Partnership, Reconciliation Fund, Department of Foreign Affairs along with well-known and respected peacebuilder Anne Carr.
Inputs were provided by Jonna Monaghan, Women’s Platform, along with Louise Coyle, NIRWN and Karen Sweeney, WSN. The new website womens-spaces.org was launched at the event, along with the new programme ‘Where are the Women?’ starting January 2023. The project also warmly introduced Charmain Jones from NIRWN as the Women’s Spaces Co-ordinator for Rural and Sarah Stark who will be joining WRDA as the new Women Spaces Co-ordinator for Urban Communities.
Feedback on both the website and the programme has been very positive and we thank all those who joined us to make it a memorable day and memorable launch.
